Where we stand on accessibility — plainly.
Procurement teams and disability-rights reviewers deserve receipts, not a badge. Here is exactly what we test, what we have verified by hand, and where we are still short — plus how to tell us when we get it wrong.
Live captions are not an afterthought
Every meeting TopLine records gets real-time transcription with speaker labels, visible on screen as the call happens and saved to the wrap-up afterward. If your team relies on a written record instead of audio, that is core product, not a bolt-on.
What we test automatically
An automated axe-core scan runs in our CI pipeline against a fixed set of representative rep, admin, and internal-operator screens, checking WCAG 2.1 A/AA rules. Today this surfaces findings to our engineering queue for triage — it is not yet a hard gate that blocks a page from shipping with a violation. We are moving screens from flagged to enforced one at a time rather than claiming a finish line we have not crossed.
What we have verified by hand
We ran a keyboard-only pass — no mouse — across signing in, the meetings list, an account page, and a finished meeting’s wrap-up. On that path, every control we tested is reachable with Tab, shows a visible focus indicator, activates with Enter, and a confirmation dialog closes on Escape without taking the destructive action. Automated scanners cannot tell you whether Tab order makes sense or a click handler was actually wired to a real button; a person has to drive it.
Where we are honest about the gaps
We have not completed a full screen-reader pass (VoiceOver, NVDA, JAWS) across the product, and we do not have a published VPAT or Accessibility Conformance Report yet. The live meeting workspace — the waveform, the real-time cue rail, a transcript updating mid-call — is a dynamic surface that automated tools systematically under-report, and it has not had a dedicated review. Our own keyboard pass also found one real gap: selecting a meetings-list row to preview it responds to a click but not yet to the keyboard, though that same meeting stays reachable through its own “Open” link either way.
